Flower Shoppe Fun!!

OK , I finally got the pictures of the cuts from the Flower Shoppe Cartridge uploaded.  It took longer to do that than it did to actually put the flowers together.  I also cut a few leaves to try them out.  I used white and pale pink cardstock just so I could ink them any way I wanted.  On the flowers, I used Quick Quotes chalk inks and some Tattered Angels Mist on one of them.  I've got to do better with the splatter as you can see on one flower.  On the leaves I used green and brown chalk inks, then rubbed on some Inka Gold in green. I love the look of the leaves and I hope you can see the colors.  I think I love this cartridge since I love  handmade flowers.  Let me know what you think and don't forget to tell your scrap friends  about my blog.

Busy with the Cricut

Hello Scrapfriends!! Today I set up my Expression and Create to play with some of my cartridges! WooHoo, I haven't had time to play with the bugs. I used the Flower Shoppe and Martha Stewart Elegant cartridges. I had fun but am still learning the ropes. Birthday on Monday and I hope I get a Gypsy from dear Hubby ( hint). I will post some pics of the flowers so you can see the before cuts.
